I am a theatre professional and teacher with experience in classical theatre, contemporary classics, musicals, and the development of new plays. I have performed in New York, regionally, and toured the nation on several different occasions. I am drawn to work that is darkly comic, satirical, and iconoclastic. My background in stage combat and punk music has resulted in an approach to theatre that is highly physical and fast paced yet still attuned to delivering clear stories with powerful messages whether they be socio-political or intensely personal. I believe the theatre is America’s greatest neighborhood: an inclusive place that grows stronger through hard work, diversity, communication, and challenging oneself and others. MFA in Acting from the University of North Carolina/PlayMakers Repertory Company (recipient of the David A. Hammond Award for Excellence in Dramatic Art).
